Participants will work with their stallion to train him for collection from a phantom.

Note:  Guaranteed minimum of two training sessions per day.  Stallions generally require 3-5 sessions to be successfully trained to mount and collect from a phantom - some with and others without a mare located nearby.  Some stallions may require more training sessions, thus success cannot be guaranteed.

• 2-3 training sessions per day with each stallion

Prefer 2 people per stallion to attend the workshop - one person to handle the stallion and one person to collect.  Collector must have completed the Equine Artificial Insemination School (or similar course), or have had previous collection experience.  If only one person can attend, he/she may either handle the stallion or collect and Dr. Kubiak will assume the other role.

Potential participants should contact Dr. Kubiak to talk about their stallion & their role(s) in the training process.

• Time:             8:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Enrollment:   Maximum 4 stallions
• Course Fee:  $300 per stallion
       - Up to 2 people may accompany the stallion
       - Includes complimentary semen & testicular evaluations 
       - Cooled semen testing available - $65; pay at the course
• Spectator Fee:  $25 per day
