"We have a private farm where we breed for 30-40 babies a year, all with shipped semen and embryo transfer done at commercial breeding facilities. In an attempt to see if we could do the reproductive work ourselves and bring our breeding expenses down, I took Dr. Kubiak's courses for ultrasound and embryo transfer in March. By the end of June I had transferred 17 embryos which resulted in 14 pregnancies; an 82% pregnancy rate! Dr. Kubiak has made it possible for us to continue operating at full capacity during this time of 'economic crunch'."
Dr Kubiak's Embryo transplant course was one of the best courses I have attended in my 37 years as a physician. He is an excellent clinician and has the ability to translate technical information into understandable "real people" terms so it will be readily understood and used. I recommend his courses highly for anyone who breeds horses- regardless of their experience. The courses are structured so that the absolute novice will understand them while the experienced student will not be bored! I plan to take several more courses- and am currently starting embryo transplants from my old Classical Spanish brood mare and my younger show mare!
